We are looking for an enthusiastic Machinist with a strong work ethic to join our friendly, well-respected and long-established company on a 2-year fixed-term contract.You will be joining a dynamic team where you can build strong connections with your immediate peers and work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider company.The key functions of this role are:Operate various types of CNC machinery to manufacture production parts, parts for tooling and fixtures, and prototype partsCan operate other manual fabrication machine such as Milling, Drilling, Lathe, band saw, and grinders will be an advantageFamiliar with the use of different precision measuring devicesPerform all tasks according to the specifications and Quality Management System procedures.Read and Interpret drawingsLiaise with various departments to manufacture specific parts for projectsSupport and contribute to continuous improvement activities, maintaining high standards through 6S methodologyProgram CNC equipment where requiredClean and de-burr parts where requiredMaintain an organised, clean and safe work environment at all times.Do you have what it takes?
