DescriptionThe Opportunity This role sits within QIC's Listed & Private Market Solutions team and works closely with investment professionals to deliver technology solutions that support investment decision-making and risk management across interest rate, credit, inflation and currency markets.As part of a collaborative team of developers, architects and investment stakeholders, you will design, develop and support applications that solve complex business and technical challenges.
The role provides exposure to modern cloud platforms, AI-enabled development practices and contemporary software engineering approaches, while contributing to the ongoing evolution of QIC's investment technology landscape.You will work across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions in a sophisticated investment management workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and support custom software solutions.
Partner closely with investment professionals to deliver business-aligned technology outcomes.
Contribute to solution architecture and technical design.
Conduct peer reviews and champion development best practice.
Support continuous improvement across development processes, tools and standards.
Work with modern cloud, integration and AI-powered technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for a passionate and technically capable full-stack developer who brings experience across some of the following technologies and practices:C#, Java, Node.js,
