Drawing / Drafting Designer – Steel & Metal Fabrication
All Safe Metal Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Draftsperson to join our metal fabrication team in Padstow, Sydney.
This is an on-site position involving steel structures, staircases, balustrades, handrails and custom metalwork.
Key responsibilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting and design software
Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and site measurements
Liaise with the workshop team and project manager to ensure drawings meet fabrication and installation requirements
Update drawings and manage revisions
Assist with site measurements when required
About you
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting and design software
Experience preparing shop drawings for steel fabrication, staircases or balustrades is preferred
Ability to communicate in both Mandarin and English is essential, as the role involves working with Mandarin-speaking workshop staff
Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
