Elders Blackall is seeking a Stock Agent to join our high-performing team in the heart of Queensland's cattle country.
As a key player in our team, you'll bring energy, initiative, and a customer-first mindset to help drive sales and support producers across the region.
You'll be backed by the strength of Elders' trusted name and by access to one of the most iconic saleyards in the country: The Blackall Saleyards.Why this role is unique: The Blackall Saleyards, established in ****, serve as the major livestock selling centre in Western Queensland.
With over 130,000 head of cattle passing through annually, these saleyards are a central hub for producers across a vast geographical area.
This state-of-the-art facility provides a significant competitive advantage to any sales professional looking to expand their client base, drive sales, and be part of a dynamic and respected livestock marketplace.What we're looking for:A genuine passion for the livestock industry and rural communitiesStrong sales drive and a hunger for successWillingness to roll up your sleeves to build and maintain strong client relationshipsExcellent communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of regional cattle markets (preferred)What you'll do:Represent Elders at Blackall Saleyards and other regional sales eventsDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing livestock clientsProvide trusted advice to producers to help them achieve the best outcomes for their businessIdentify growth opportunities and work proactively to build business in your territoryBe a visible presence in the community and a trusted partner to producersAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
