To help us achievethis, we are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Boilermaker toundertake manufacturing, welding and metal fabrication across Council's plant,fleet, ferries and other assets.This is a hands‐on role where you will work across a variety of fabrication, repair and refurbishment activities while supporting the safeand reliable operation of Council's fleet and equipment.To succeed in this role, you will have:CertificateIII qualification in Welding / Boilermaking.Demonstratedexperience in metal fabrication.DemonstratedTIG welding experience.Demonstratedexperience in body building and manufacturing.Theability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively withother trades and team members.Astrong commitment to safe work practices and compliance with WHSrequirements.Acurrent Motor Vehicle Driver Licence.On a typical day this role will:Manufacture,fabricate, repair and refurbish Council plant, fleet, ferries and otherassets.Completeservice body fit-outs, installations and repairs in accordance withmanufacturer specifications and Council standards.UndertakeTIG welding and general metal fabrication activities across a range ofjobs.Workcollaboratively with other trades and stakeholders to deliver worksefficiently and to schedule.Maintainaccurate job records and manage materials, steel, parts and consumablesrequired for fabrication and repair work.Remuneration and BenefitsEmployment type: Permanent, full-time role (38 hours perweek with 9-day fortnight)Salary (exclusive of super):
