HRG is proud to partner with ADSSI Limited as they grow their Support Worker workforce across Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.We're recruiting multiple Permanent Part-Time and Casual Support Workers, with a particular focus on ADSSI's Out of Hospital Care (OHC) services across Lake Macquarie.If you enjoy working one-to-one with clients, being out in the community and helping people maintain their independence at home, we'd love to hear from you.About ADSSIFor more than 35 years, ADSSI has supported older Australians and people living with disability to remain safe, independent and connected in their own homes.You'll have the stability and opportunities of an established not-for-profit organisation, while working within a local team that understands its community and values the contribution of its Support Workers.What will you be doing?
Your day may include:Personal care and daily living assistanceDomestic assistance and household tasksMeal preparation and shoppingTransport to appointmentsCommunity access and social supportMedication assistance, where appropriately trainedMonitoring client wellbeing and reporting changesSupporting clients following discharge from hospitalHelping clients regain confidence and independence at homeAbout youYou'll be someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people and understands the importance of reliability in community care.You're comfortable working independently, communicate with kindness and respect,
build trust quickly and know when something needs to be reported or escalated.To be considered, you'll need:Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability), Aged Care or equivalentCurrent NSW Driver LicenceRegistered vehicle with comprehensive insurance and a safe driving recordFirst Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain prior to commencementCurrent or willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker CheckAbility to meet ADSSI's pre-employment screening and compliance requirementsHealth & Immunisation RequirementsAs these opportunities include work within Out of Hospital Care, relevant health and immunisation requirements apply.Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of relevant immunisations as part of ADSSI's pre-employment process.Why join ADSSI?
