CAD Draftsperson | Electronic Systems | Canberra, ACTOur client is one fo the largest and most well-known brands in its industry, and looking for an experienced CAD Draftsperson to join a very large, high-profile Canberra construction project, producing technical and installation drawings for complex electronic systems.You do not need to come from a traditional building-services background.
What matters is your ability to understand how electronic systems are designed, documented and installed.You will need strong AutoCAD capability, knowledge of BIM, Revit or other 3D drafting environments, and experience documenting electronic, electrical, communications, ICT, security, AV, controls or similar systems.The RoleWorking with project managers, engineers and technicians, you will:Produce detailed CAD drawings, schematics, system diagrams and installation detailsPrepare equipment layouts, cable routes, wiring diagrams, elevations and block diagramsWork with BIM, Revit or other 3D drafting environmentsDevelop drawings for construction, installation, commissioning and as-built documentationCoordinate electronic systems with architectural, electrical and other project documentationMaintain drawing revisions, registers and document-control standardsAttend site as required to confirm installation conditions and capture as-built informationAbout YouTo be considered, you will need:Professional experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareKnowledge of BIM,
