Your technical expertise and leadership capability will be key in maintaining high workmanship standards and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate a small workshop teamMaintain high standards of workmanship through mentoring and leading by exampleProvide regular progress updates to the Workshop Supervisor to meet timelinesPerform workshop installations and pre-delivery inspections on new and used equipmentFabricate and install subframes from design through to manufactureService and repair new and used vehicle-mounted cranes and hook loadersComplete job documentation accurately and in a timely mannerWork safely at all times and comply with site safety policies and proceduresAbout YouPrevious experience in a Leading Hand role within a similar industryCertificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Fabrication Trade, or equivalentExperience working on heavy vehiclesExperience with cranes and/or hook loaders highly regardedAbility to interpret technical drawings and proceduresStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanshipExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to safe work practicesStrong time management and task prioritisation skillsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordCurrent Australian driver's licence (HR licence preferred)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police CheckWhat's On OfferCompetitive salary packageAccess to an employee benefits platform (discounts on groceries, electronics, and more)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Annual Health and Wellbeing reimbursement programMonday to Friday rosterSupportive team environment and modern workshop facilitiesApplicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.
