We are passionate about animal welfare, safety, sustainability and providing opportunities for our people to build rewarding careers within the agricultural industry.We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Skilled Tradesperson to join our team, based at our Pittsworth Breeding Piggery.This is a full-time, 38-hour-per-week position supporting the maintenance, repairs and infrastructure requirements across our piggery operations.The role will primarily operate Monday to Friday, with weekend work only required when operationally necessary.You will work alongside other experienced tradespeople and travel to other SunPork sites when required.
You will need your own reliable vehicle to travel to the Pittsworth site,



with carpooling available with other tradespeople for travel between work sites.Key Responsibilities:Your duties may include:General repairs and preventative maintenanceMaintenance of piggery buildings, equipment and infrastructureWelding, fabrication and general repair workUsing hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAssisting with installation and maintenance projectsTroubleshooting and repairing equipment as requiredSupporting maintenance requirements across multiple sitesCompleting work in accordance with WHS and site safety proceduresWorking closely with site teams and other tradespeopleAbout You:To be considered for this position, you will need:A minimum of 3 year'sexperience working as a tradespersonCertificate III trade qualificationCurrent open driver's licenseYour own reliable vehicleStrong experience using hand and power toolsPractical maintenance and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to travel to other sites when requiredExperience with farm infrastructure, welding, fabrication or agricultural maintenance will be highly regarded.Previous experience within a piggery or agricultural environment is desirable but not essential for someone with strong transferable trade skills.What We Offer:Full time, ongoing employment38-hour working weekPredominantly Monday to Friday rosterWeekend work only when requiredOpportunity to work across a variety of maintenance and infrastructure projectsWork alongside an experienced trades teamStable employment with one of Australia's leading pork producersSupportive and hands-on working environment
