The firm places a real emphasis on professional development, mentoring and giving people the chance to progress based on performance and potential.The RoleWorking with a varied portfolio of businesses and private clients, your responsibilities will include:Preparing financial statements and income tax returnsWorking across companies, trusts, partnerships and individualsPreparing BAS, IAS and other compliance requirementsTax planning and general taxation adviceManagement reporting and year-end workAssisting clients with day‐to‐day accounting and business mattersBuilding strong relationships and communicating directly with clientsIdentifying opportunities to provide additional commercial and advisory supportAssisting and mentoring junior team membersWorking closely with Managers and Partners on more complex client mattersImportantly, this is not a purely compliance‐focused position.

work directly with clients and develop into a trusted advisor.About YouWe're looking for someone who has:Around 3-5+ years' experience within Australian Public PracticeStrong Business Services and taxation experienceExperience preparing financial statements and tax returnsGood knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirementsCA/CPA qualification completed or underwayStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence dealing directly with clientsA genuine interest in progressing their career within Public PracticeWhy Consider This Firm?
