This is an chance to join a high performing and well‐resourced teaching team that adopts a collegial and supportive approach.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally display the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to deliver and assess the Western Australian Home Economics curriculum to Year 12 level.
Within the Home Economics area, a range of subjects are offered at Ocean Reef SHS including Food Science & Technology from Years8 to12, Textiles and Child Development from Year9 leading into Year11 and12 Children, Family & Community and CertificateIII in Tourism.
As part of the broader Technologies team the willingness to deliver Digital Technologies is an advantage.
The successful applicant should have highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including students, staff and community members.
You should engage in reflective practice and should be committed to whole‐school pedagogical approaches.
