The successful candidate will also play an important role in supporting the team through a D365 transition, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvements and systems optimisation.This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional looking to join a reputable organisation for a 15-month period, while gaining exposure to a significant systems transition.The ChallengeReporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:Managing the end-to-end accounts payable functionManaging a volume of ***** invoices daily,
with components of manual data entrySetting up and maintaining existing suppliers and reconciling supplier statements when requiredPreparing weekly and monthly payment runs and completing ad hoc payments when requiredPerforming bank reconciliations, monthly credit card reconciliations, and monitoring daily cash flowSupporting the team through the transition to D365 and assisting with process improvementsWorking closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely paymentsAssisting with ad hoc finance tasks as requiredThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:3-5+ years of experience in an end-to-end accounts payable positionProcess improvement mindset and ability to take ownership of workloadExperience working in a complex processing environmentStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesStrong communication skills, with confidence liaising with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience with D365, or exposure to a similar ERP system, will be highly regardedFull Australian working rights and comfortable committing to a 15-month fixed-term contractAvailability to commence mid-late October
