It runs its own in-house Claims Team that advocates for clients across a range of insurance classes, with a strong focus on Property and Residential Strata.About the RoleWe're recruiting a Claims Consultant to join the Claims Team.
The role is based in Melbourne CBD, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.You'll manage your own claims portfolio end to end.
This is a brokerage claims role: you advocate for clients with insurers rather than holding settlement authority.Responsibilities include:End-to-end management of a claims portfolio across a range of classes, with a focus on Property and Residential StrataLiaising with Brokers, repairers, assessors and UnderwritersAdvocating for clients to achieve the best possible claims outcomeBuilding strong relationships with internal and external clientsAbout YouYou'll have at least 3 years' experience in insurance and/or claims.




Property or Strata claims experience is highly regarded but not essential.Ideally you'll bring:Experience managing a claims portfolio from lodgement to settlementClear written and verbal communication with Brokers, assessors and insurersAttention to detail in a busy teamFull Australian work rights (essential)Claims Examiners from Insurers, Loss Adjusters and TPAs will be considered, as well as brokerage claims staff.What's on Offer$90k + superHybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from homeStructured training and a transparent path for advancementAn experienced Claims Team to support youAbout UsInsurance Broking is a core element of Hooker & Heijden's recruitment services.
