This role will be part of our Global Sales Team for The Experience Studio at Amex GBT and report into the Global Director of Sales, and will also be supported by peers and leaders from the APAC region as well as globally.
What You'll Do Identify, manage and drive prospects through the sales lifecycle in the Australia/APAC live corporate events market environmentContribute towards the profitability of the company by focusing on high revenue generating opportunitiesConfidently promote and present our whole Experience Studio portfolio of services - Sourcing, Event Management, Group Travel & Creative ProductionLead cross selling opportunities from Strategic Meeting clients, Business Travel clients and other areas within Amex GBTProactive outreach; Prospect calls and meetings - this role is expected to keep a consistently high prospecting activity to generate new business leads and client conversionsSuccessfully build relationships and engage at key stakeholder levelNetwork and represent the company in industry communities and eventsWork with creative team to deliver sales material and produce high quality pitch responses to win new businessOwn RFI and RFP responses and processes acting as bid captain, leading the work on pricing, negotiations, proposal building, pitch presentations and contracting.




What We're Looking For Graduate with minimum 2 years experience with a successful track record from a Business Development Role, preferably within event productionProven track record in sales negotiations, new business results and closing skills in the corporate events marketplaceExperience of the live events industry and strong negotiation and influencing skillsComfortable liaising with stakeholder spectrum; C-level, Marketing, Heads of Department, procurement, internal operations & event managersFluent in written and spoken Business English, any level fluency in a second language would be advantageousDynamic and enthusiastic team player and collaboratorExcellent client communication and presentation skillsExcellent networker and relationship builderIndependent and highly motivated, target drivenAble to work well in a virtual environmentAbility to travel by airplane, boat, rail and/or car and this role is remote, but we do offer access to the office in Sydney as option Location South Australia, Australia The ExperienceWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.Versatile benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
