You will manage sensitive legal work and support senior leaders across the department.
You will:provide clear and practical legal advice on public law and government mattersmanage complex and sensitive legal cases and advice with limited supervisionresearch complex legal issues and apply strong statutory interpretation skillsdraft high-quality legal documents, reports, briefs and ministerial correspondencework closely with legal leaders and department teams to resolve important legal mattersAbout youYou must be admitted, or eligible for admission, to practise as a legal practitioner in Victoria.
You should have strong experience in public, administrative and human rights law.
You should also have:strong legal skills to analyse complex issues and develop accurate legal solutionssenior legal experience providing advice on public,
