Our work ranges from discrete consulting and advisory engagements through to embedded roles where our consultants work directly within client and project teams.You will apply your civil engineering and project management experience across:Project planning, mobilisation and executionCivil construction and infrastructure deliveryLarge-scale earthworks and site developmentWater and wastewater infrastructureTransport infrastructureBuilding and associated civil worksResource planning and workforce coordinationContractor and subcontractor managementProgramme, cost and commercial managementQuality management and assuranceProcurement and contract managementProject risk and opportunity managementStakeholder and client managementProject reporting, governance and performance managementCompletion, commissioning and project close‐outThis is a hands‐on project management and consulting role.We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a project or significant workstream, establish what needs to be done, coordinate the people and resources required to deliver it, manage competing priorities and maintain control of programme, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder expectations.You will be expected to combine sound technical understanding with strong project management judgement.

particularly:Large-scale earthworks and bulk civil worksWater and wastewater infrastructureTransport infrastructureBuilding projects and associated civil worksYou will ideally demonstrate:A recognised Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringPostgraduate qualifications in Project Management (PMP or similar)Strong project and construction management experienceDemonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and construction workforcesStrong resource management capability, including workforce, subcontractor, plant and project resource coordinationAn understanding of project commercials, including budgets, forecasting, procurement, variations and cost controlStrong quality management and quality assurance capabilityExperience developing and implementing project plans, programmes and delivery strategiesAn ability to identify, assess and proactively manage project risksStrong written communication and project reporting capabilityMature stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong client relationshipsConfidence communicating with senior client representatives, contractors, consultants and project teamsAn ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of project outcomesExperience working within a consulting environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

At times this may be on project rosters for the duration of projects - uplifts are applied to salary to compensate for this.Candidates must hold appropriate Australian working rights and be able to work effectively within client, office and construction site environments.SalaryBase salary: $140,000–$160,000 plus generous project uplifts, plus superannuation - commensurate with experience.The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in Lidiar Group's performance incentive program after six months.
