Executive Officer opportunity based in Launceston - 12 month contractYour recent company Hays is partnering with a large and well-established Tasmanian educational organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Officer.
This organisation is focused on supporting its people and delivering positive outcomes across Tasmania.
The role sits within a busy People and Wellbeing division and will work closely with senior leaders across the organisation.Your new role Based in Launceston, this is a 12-month contract opportunity providing high-level strategic, operational and executive support to the CPO and strategic team.
You'll act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership and help keep the division's priorities, communication and day-to-day operations on track.Your responsibilities will include:Providing strategic and operational advice across the divisionPreparing executive reports, presentations, briefings and communicationsCoordinating priorities, commitments, information flow and diary requirementsMonitoring programs, projects and key initiativesSupporting financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reportingCoordinating team events, leadership planning days and staff activitiesManaging competing deadlines and ensuring key requirements are metIdentifying practical ways to improve processes and divisional operationsBuilding strong working relationships with internal teams and external partnersThe position operates in a confidential and complex environment, so sound judgement,
