Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Food Services Operations Manager to join a large and highly regarded healthcare organisation in Melbourne.This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of a high-volume commercial kitchen and food services team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality meal services to a diverse customer base.
You will lead a sizeable workforce, drive operational excellence, manage resources effectively and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives across the department.
Your new role Reporting to the food services manager, you will provide both strategic and hands-on leadership across food production and food service operations.
This is a fast-paced and complex workplace where quality, compliance and workforce management are paramount.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing a large food services team across a 24/7 operationManaging kitchen production, menu implementation and service deliveryAssisting with cooking and meal preparationDriving food safety compliance and quality assurance standardsOverseeing workforce planning, recruitment, training and performance managementManaging supplier relationships, procurement and inventory processesMonitoring labour,
