Electrical Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Outs & RefurbishmentsElectrical Project ManagerCommercial Fit-Outs & RefurbishmentsActive Conductors Electrical Pty Ltd – Sydney NSWActive Conductors Electrical is a growing Sydney-based commercial electrical contracting company specialising in commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and construction projects from 50K to 1MWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of the successful delivery of our electrical projects.This is an opportunity for someone who wants to play an important role in a growing business, take responsibility for projects from start to finish, and have a genuine influence on how the business operates.About the RoleWorking closely with the Director, you will be responsible for managing the electrical component of projects from commencement through to completion.You will be trusted to manage your projects with a high level of independence, while having support from management when required.Your responsibilities will include:Managing commercial electrical projects from start to finishPlanning and programming works to ensure projects are delivered on timeCoordinating electricians, apprentices, subcontractors and suppliersManaging project budgets, costs and labourReviewing drawings, specifications and project documentationCoordinating with builders, clients, consultants and other tradesAttending site meetings and coordinating project requirementsPreparing and managing variations and additional worksReviewing project scope and identifying potential cost issuesOrganising materials, equipment and site requirementsMonitoring project progress against programme and budgetIdentifying design issues, clashes and potential delaysCoordinating shop drawings, technical queries and approvalsManaging project documentation and QA requirementsCoordinating testing, commissioning, defects and handoverEnsuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications,



standards and project requirementsMaintaining strong relationships with builders and clientsProviding regular project updates to managementSupporting estimating and tendering for upcoming projects when requiredWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced electrical project manager who can take ownership of projects and operate independently.Ideally, you will have:Relevant electrical qualification and/or extensive electrical industry experienceStrong experience managing commercial electrical projectsProven commercial fit-out and refurbishment experienceStrong understanding of electrical construction and installationExperience managing project budgets, labour and costsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specificationsStrong programming and planning skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to confidently deal with builders, clients, consultants and subcontractorsStrong problem-solving skills and initiativeAbility to identify issues before they become problemsStrong understanding of project variations and commercial managementHigh standards of quality and safetyCurrent Australian driver's licenceWhite CardAn NSW Electrical Licence would be highly regarded.The PersonWe're looking for someone who doesn't need to be constantly directed.You will be trusted to run your projects largely independently, make decisions, solve problems and keep projects moving.You will have support from the Director when required,
