With a strong commitment to governance, compliance and continuous improvement, this organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to play a key role in strengthening financial reporting, audit readiness and organisational performance.Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy and compliance of financial reporting across the business.
This is a hands-on position offering broad exposure across financial accounting, statutory compliance, audit management and stakeholder engagement.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and reviewing complex journals, reconciliations and month-end reportingManaging balance sheet integrity and ensuring robust financial controlsSupporting BAS, FBT and statutory compliance obligationsProducing accurate monthly management reports, variance analysis and financial insightsAssisting with year-end reporting, external audits and statutory financial statementsPartnering with operational and leadership stakeholders to provide financial guidanceDriving process improvements,
