Known for its practical, values-led culture, the business offers a collaborative environment where employees are trusted to make an impact and contribute to continuous improvement.Your new role:Reporting directly to senior management, this is a hands-on Accountant position with responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business.You will play a key role in providing accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting commercial decision-making across the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Preparation of monthly management reports and financial statementsBudgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementGeneral ledger maintenance, reconciliations and month-end processesOversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsPayroll review and compliance supportProject costing, profitability reporting and financial analysisPreparation of statutory reporting requirements including BAS and GSTLiaising with external accountants, auditors and professional advisersDriving process improvements and strengthening financial controlsSupporting operational leaders with reporting and commercial insightsWhat you'll need to succeed : To be considered for this opportunity,
you will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineProven experience in a broad accounting roleStrong financial reporting and management accounting capabilityExperience preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow reportsAdvanced knowledge of XeroSound understanding of payroll, GST, BAS and statutory compliance requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the businessCA or CPA qualifications, or progress towards completion, will be highly regarded.
