With multiple sites and a strong market presence, the business combines operational excellence with a progressive approach to finance, systems and technology.As the business continues to invest in innovation and process improvement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Group Accountant to work closely with the CFO and leadership team in a highly visible and commercially focused role.The OpportunityThis is much more than a traditional accounting position.
You'll take ownership of finance across multiple entities while partnering closely with operations, sales, purchasing and senior leadership.Working directly with the CFO, you'll be involved in everything from financial reporting and compliance through to commercial analysis, inventory management, tender support and business improvement initiatives.
You'll gain exposure to the full business lifecycle, from procurement and production through to sales performance and strategic decision making.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-function accounting across multiple entities, including month end reporting, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and management reportingPrepare BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and other statutory compliance obligationsSupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management across the groupOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including payments, collections and credit managementPartner with sales teams to analyse quoting activity, conversion rates and sales performanceDeliver business insights across inventory, product profitability,
