We have partnered with an established electrical and automation business that delivers high-end custom residential projects across Melbourne's South-East, from Toorak through to the Mornington Peninsula as they look to bring on an experienced Electrical Estimator.This role is for someone who can take ownership of the estimating process, bring technical insight to the table and help improve the way projects are priced and delivered.What you'll be doingPreparing estimates, take-offs and detailed quotes for electrical projectsReviewing plans and refining estimates to ensure accuracy and profitabilityManaging variations and supporting projects through to deliveryWorking closely with the Director,
Project Manager and Automation ManagerIdentifying opportunities to improve estimating processes and systemsProgressively becoming involved in client meetings and the sales processWhat we're looking forSolid experience in electrical estimatingStrong technical understanding of electrical installations and project requirementsAbility to read plans, identify issues and provide detailed technical inputSomeone experienced enough to challenge the process and suggest better ways of doing thingsStrong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and project teamsThe role$110k-$140k + superSouth-East MelbournePreference for 3-4 days in the office, with adaptable working hoursLaptop + phone provided
