Working within a professional and safety-focused environment, you will play an significant part in maintaining productivity, compliance, and operational excellence underground.This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established mining contractor and work alongside experienced industry professionals.NSW Underground Mining OperationsFamily-friendly rostersCamp accommodation and meals provided where applicableKey ResponsibilitiesSafely handle, prepare, and fire explosives undergroundOperate and maintain charge-up equipment in accordance with site proceduresFollow blast plans, supervisor instructions, and safety protocolsMaintain compliance with site safety standards and legislative requirementsComplete charging and blast documentation accuratelyParticipate in toolbox talks, training,



and safety meetingsAssist with general underground mining activities as requiredWork collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and production crewsSkills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current Shotfirer's Licence or ability to obtainPrevious underground charge-up and explosives handling experienceSound understanding of underground mining environmentsStrong commitment to safe work practicesAbility to work effectively within a team environmentAdditional RequirementsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screeningCurrent National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)Current driver's licenceCommitment to adhering to all site safety and compliance requirementsWhy Join HMR?
