The Everlast Group Pty Ltd – Emu Plains NSWThe Everlast Group Pty LtdEmu Plains, Sydney NSWThe Everlast Group Pty LtdEmu Plains, Sydney NSWAbout the RoleThe Everlast Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Joinery Estimator to join our team in Emu Plains.We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-quality commercial joinery and are looking for a detail-oriented estimator who can accurately price projects, interpret drawings and specifications, and work closely with our project and production teams.This is an excellent chance for someone with strong commercial joinery estimating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesReview architectural drawings, plans, specifications and project documentationPrepare accurate and competitive estimates and quotations for commercial joinery projectsComplete detailed material, hardware, labour and installation take-offsObtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricingIdentify project requirements, exclusions, variations and potential cost risksLiaise with suppliers, clients, builders,



architects and internal teamsPrepare tender submissions and pricing schedulesWork with the production and project management teams to ensure accurate handover of awarded projectsMaintain estimating records and pricing databasesAssist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities where appropriateManage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneouslyAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience estimating commercial joinery projectsStrong understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware and manufacturing processesAbility to accurately read and interpret architectural and joinery drawingsExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong knowledge of labour, material and installation costsAbility to prepare detailed take-offs and quotationsGood communication and negotiation skillsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency with estimating, Excel and relevant construction/joinery softwareA proactive approach and the ability to meet tight tender deadlinesWhat We OfferFull-time position based in Emu PlainsCompetitive salary based on experienceOpportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projectsSupportive and professional team environmentLong-term opportunity with an established and growing companyOpportunity for career development and progression
