Our team is passionate about creating memorable moments for every visitor and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to join Mandoon Estate on a full-time basis.
This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the overall management and operation of our venue.
The Venue Manager will oversee all aspects of venue operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and driving revenue growth.
You will be the key decisionmaker for day-to-day operations and will play a crucial role in achieving our business objectives whilst creating a positive environment for both staff and guests.Key responsibilitiesOversee all day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocolsManage and supervise venue staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance managementEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirementsDevelop and implement strategies to maximise venue revenue and profitabilityManage budgets, control costs, and monitor budget performance against targetsMaintain and coordinate maintenance of the venue, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal conditionDeliver exceptional customer service and handle guest relations and complaint resolutionCoordinate events, functions,
and special occasions, ensuring seamless executionLead marketing and promotional initiatives to increase venue visibility and attract new customersWhat we're looking forProven experience in venue management, hospitality management, or a similar leadership role within the hospitality and tourism sectorStrong knowledge of hospitality operations, customer service standards, and industry best practicesExcellent financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse P&L; statements, and drive profitabilityDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop diverse teamsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and staffProblem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challengesKnowledge of health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and compliance standards relevant to hospitality venuesProficiency in venue management booking systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteFlexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredA passion for hospitality, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and creating a welcoming atmospherePreferred: Experience with event coordination, marketing,
