Business Development Manager – (Commercial Cleaning)Cleaning Brisbane is a growing commercial cleaning business with an expanding footprint across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
We're building momentum across private-sector clients and actively pursuing growth opportunities across government and private-sector environments, including through upcoming tenders.Backed by established systems, experienced operators and proven multi-site delivery capability, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can open doors, build trusted relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term service contracts across Commercial, Strata, Retail, Industrial, Education, Transport and Medical.
This role is highly autonomous and works closely with senior leadership to shape our growth strategy.The roleYou'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, and ensure a smooth handover into operations so sites launch well and clients stay for the long term.Key responsibilitiesBuild and manage a strong pipeline across target sectors (end users, facility managers, property/strata managers and procurement)Proactively generate recent opportunities (networking, outreach, referrals, warm leads)Run discovery meetings and site inspections to understand scope and client needsPrepare and present proposals,



pricing and service solutions (and tenders where required)Negotiate commercial terms and close sustainable, profitable contractsMaintain accurate activity, forecasting and opportunity notes in the CRMCoordinate handover and mobilisation with operations to ensure a strong start and high client satisfactionAbout you4–5+ years' B2B business development experience in commercial cleaning, facilities, soft services, security, maintenance or similarProven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and winning longer‐term contractsStrong relationship‐building, communication and negotiation skillsCommercial mindset: understands pricing, margin and delivery realitiesDisciplined and organised with strong follow‐up habits and CRM hygieneCurrent driver's licence and willingness to meet clients on-siteWhat you'll getCompetitive salary commensurate with experiencePerformance incentives aligned to new profitable growth (bonus/commission structure discussed at interview)Tools of trade (phone/laptop; vehicle/car allowance by agreement)A senior, visible role with autonomy and direct access to decision makersBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
