We are seeking motivated, reliable, active and hardworking individuals to join our team as Banana Farm Workers.
This is an exciting prospect to work in Australia's vibrant agricultural sector.Key Responsibilities:Plant, maintain, and harvest bananas according to company standards and proceduresOperate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors and harvestersAssist with stringing, deleafing, irrigation, desuckering, bagging and bell injectingStacking and dehandingSort and grade bananas for packaging and distributionPack and label fruits for shipmentMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow all safety protocols and regulationsCommunicate any issues or concerns to the farm supervisorAssist with other farm duties as neededRequirements:At least 12 months of previous experience working on an agriculture farm or Certificate I in HorticultureAbility to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50lbsKnowledge of farm machinery and equipmentBasic understanding of crop and livestock careStrong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a teamAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsValid driver's license and reliable transportationCompetitive salary from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuationbased on experience.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the companyOn-the-job training and developmentFriendly and supportive work environmentB & J SINGH PTY LTD is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
