Location: EsperanceAbout the roleWe are seeking a Financial Services Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Financial Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and colleagues with your specialist knowledge.
You will provide ongoing training and guidance to team members, ensuring the entire branch is confident and capable in delivering our full suite of Financial Services solutions.ResponsibilitiesBe the branch go-to person for matters associated with all Financial Services ProductsProvide training and product knowledge to other team members regarding the Financial Services product suiteDevelop and implement an annual Branch Financial Services business plan to support yearly growth ambitionsImplement sales campaigns aimed at identifying client opportunities, across the full suite of Financial Services productsGrow the Deposit Book:Assist customers directly with their deposit requirements by providing a one-on-one personalised service including:Opening accounts, maintenance, rollovers and general enquiriesUndertaking and adhering to various procedures as part of the operational functions for depositsEnsure 100% compliance with relevant statutory legislation as required in the execution of operational duties (e.g. AML/CTF)Assisting customers with Seasonal Finance Products, including:Own balance sheet lending and lending through third party providersRefer clients for other Financial Services ProductsAgri Finance loansCommercial and Asset FinanceInsuranceAbout youDemonstrated experience in administrative functionsExperience within the agricultural or related industries is preferred but not essentialSkilled in interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship managementProficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer operationsTrack record of delivering excellent customer serviceAble to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partnersStrong organisational abilities combined with transparent and effective communication skillsExperience in a sales-focused environment or within banking and financial services is preferredAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
