Ambulatory Services plays a critical role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, with Patient Navigators and administrative teams helping to ensure a seamless experience across the organisation.
The team is committed to continuous improvement, workforce development and building the capability of staff who contribute to exceptional patient care.About the RoleThe Patient Navigator Training Officer is responsible for supporting the growth and development of Patient Navigators and other administrative employees across Ambulatory Services.
Working closely with leaders, educators and key stakeholders, you will coordinate and deliver learning initiatives that support onboarding, compliance, professional development and career progression.

This means that a patient's care is coordinated and provided by a multi-disciplinary team of people who have specialist knowledge of a specific type of cancer.The position will provide guidance to Patient Navigator employees to support them in completing mandatory and professional development training, and progressing through opportunities in line with their role and potential career path.
