This will be conducted using automatic and manual testing equipment, hand tools and instruments, in order to evaluate the properties of the raw materials and finished goods with the goal to assure the quality and reliability of products.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate immediately to the Process operator, Production Manager or any member of management all circumstances which may affect quality or are considered questionable and unacceptableSet up and perform all necessary tests and inspections on the raw materials and products at specified stages in production process, in order to determine variables, such as dimensions, performance,



chemical and physical properties and other characteristicsDocument data obtained during testing of raw materials or finished products and log correctly in QC recordOrganise retained samples, collect and check documents for incoming materials, if applicableParticipate in all quality activities, such as preparation and testing of lab batches, investigation of non-conformities, evaluation of alternative raw materials, preparation of various certificatesCommunicate significant issues or developments identified during quality activitiesAssist with the processing of non-conforming products and returned goodsAssist with controlling and reducing quarantine stockAssist Technical Service in the investigation and verification of complaints due to finished products.About YouSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailAbility to think on your feet and have a problem solving mindsetAn excellent communicator, both verbally and written.What You BringPrevious experience within a similar role, ideally within the same industryScience related Qualifications, preferably in ChemistryBasic keyboard skills and knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.Why Choose Mapei?
