QAIAS is seeking a passionate and experienced nurse to join our dynamic team in Current Farm, Queensland.
This is a full-time or part-time role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders' communities.What you'll be doingProviding high-quality nursing care to patients within our substance use treatment centreConducting health assessments, developing and implementing individualised care plansCollaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver coordinated, trauma informed, patient-centred carePromoting health education and supporting clients in managing their own healthMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentationParticipating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service deliveryWhat we're looking forRegistered Nurse with a current AHPRA registrationDemonstrated experience in community nursingStrong understanding of the social, cultural and health needs of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,
