Sector:High-Density Residential / Class 2Location:Sydney, NSWCompany Type:Major Developer-BuilderRole OverviewSite Manager chance with a major Sydney developer-builder delivering large-scale, high-density residential projects.The Site Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to drive programme, subcontractor performance, quality and safety.The business is continuing to grow its internal construction capability and has a strong pipeline of major residential developments across Sydney, providing genuine continuity beyond the current project.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day management of site operationsManage and coordinate subcontractors and tradesDrive construction programme and key milestonesMonitor progress against programme and identify potential delaysCoordinate sequencing of trades and site activitiesMaintain high standards of quality and finishesManage QA, defects and inspectionsEnsure WHS requirements and site standards are maintainedCoordinate with Project Manager, Foremen, Engineers,



CAs and consultantsAssist with short-term programming and look-ahead programmesManage site logistics and accessAttend and contribute to site/project meetingsDrive the project through construction, completion and handoverIdeal BackgroundProven Site Manager experience within the Sydney construction marketStrong high-density residential / Class 2 apartment experienceHead Contractor or Developer-Builder background essentialExperience delivering large and complex residential projectsStrong understanding of structures, façade, services, finishes and completionStrong subcontractor management capabilityConfident managing programme, quality and safetyStrong communication and leadership skillsAble to work effectively within a larger project teamTarget BackgroundDeveloper-builders and established Tier 1 / Tier 2 head contractors delivering major apartment, mixed-use or residential developments.
