We're looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to learn.The roleInitially, your responsibilities will include a combination of junior accounting and client/practice support, including:Assisting with preparation of individual income tax returnsPreparing BAS and basic bookkeeping workAssisting with payroll and related complianceAssisting with preparation of financial statements and business tax returnsATO and ASIC administrationPreparing and sending client documents for electronic signaturePreparing invoices and processing client paymentsManaging client documents and electronic filingFollowing up clients for information and outstanding documentsCommunicating with clients by phone and emailAssisting the accounting team with workflow and ensuring jobs continue moving through the practiceAs your skills and confidence develop, we expect the role to progressively involve more accounting, taxation and direct client responsibility.About youWe're particularly interested in finding someone who is:Currently studying or recently completed an accounting or business-related degreeOrganised and able to manage multiple tasksReliable and takes ownership of their workFriendly,



confident and comfortable communicating with clientsAccurate with strong attention to detailComfortable asking questions and keen to learnConfident with technology and learning new softwareHappy to work across both accounting and administrative tasksSomeone who takes initiative rather than always waiting for the next taskInterested in developing a long-term career in accountingPrevious experience in an accounting practice would be helpful but is not essential.Experience with HandiSoft, Xero, MYOB, BGL360 or DocuSign would be an advantage but is not required.Why join Fenway Accounting?
