About the RoleFormed in ****, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare.
It remains one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.Working within the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) Drug Health Service (DHS), this role is focused on providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
The position involves delivering professional security services to protect people and property, prevent incidents and proactively identify and manage potential risks within Drug Health Services.Successful candidates will primarily be based at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) Drug Health Outpatient Clinic and may be allocated to Opioid Treatment Programs.
Security staff will work closely with patients, visitors and clinical teams, performing routine security duties while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, positive engagement and effective communication.The role also requires the ability to recognise emerging risks, take appropriate preventative action and respond professionally and effectively to critical incidents.




Security staff will form an integral part of the clinical team, contributing to a safe, respectful and supportive environment for everyone accessing Drug Health Services.For more information, please view the Position Description.Ideal CandidateMust hold NSW Security Licence 1A, current relevant First Aid Qualification and a current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
