The business operates extensive fresh departments and are seeking a Bakery Supervisor to join their Bakery team on a full-time or part-time basis.
This is an entry level supervisory role offering the chance to develop your team and build a pathway toward higher management opportunities.
About the role
As the Bakery Supervisor, you'll bring a genuine passion for food, baking and quality products and service.
Previous bakery experience is highly regarded, however a strong interest in the industry and a willingness to learn is also important.
You'll be confident managing stock orders and using basic computer systems while leading a team that works together to deliver outstanding results.
A current manual driver's licence is essential, along with a commitment to ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional shopping experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience working in a supermarket or bakery environment, with hands on knowledge of food preparation and bakingStrong understanding of food safety regulations and standards such as shrinkage and wastageSolid computer skills and the ability to manage stock control and ordering systemsValid manual driver's licence requiredKnowledge of retail industry best practices and customer service standards
