Working across customer sites throughout the region, you will provide high-quality diagnostic, maintenance and repair services on a range of Hitachi and associated mining and construction equipment.This is a hands-on role that offers variety, autonomy and the prospect to build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service and maximising equipment performance in the field.To be successful in this role, you will need:Perform diagnostics, maintenance,



repairs and component replacements on mining equipmentConduct breakdown and fault-finding activities in field service environmentsComplete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance activitiesEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and customer proceduresMaintain accurate service reports and documentationBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely service deliveryIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performancePromote a culture of safety and Total Customer Satisfaction at all timesAs the Ideal Candidate, You Will Have:Relevant Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification or equivalentProven experience working on mining or construction equipmentStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently in remote field service environmentsCommitment to workplace health and safetyExcellent communication and customer service skillsCurrent and valid Australian driver's licenceAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol assessmentA positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvementAt Hitachi, we are committed to supporting our people and providing opportunities for long-term career growth.Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
