JL Lawyers is a boutique law firm located in Adelaide's East End seeking an experienced and highly capable Legal Practice Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial, administrative and operational management of the practice.
This is a hands-on and varied position suited to someone who understands how a small legal practice operates and enjoys being at the centre of the business.
You will work closely with the firm's principals and lawyers and will be an important point of contact for clients.Part Time (at least .8 FTE) will also be considered for the right candidate.Key responsibilitiesDay-to-day bookkeeping and financial administrationCash flow management and monitoringPayroll and associated employee administrationAccounts payable and receivablePreparation and management of client billingMonitoring outstanding accounts and debt collectionClient liaison and general relationship managementTelephone,
reception and front-of-house dutiesManagement of general office administration and suppliersAssisting the principals with the efficient operation of the practiceAbout youPrevious experience working in the operation or management of a legal practice is essentialA strong working knowledge of XeroExperience with bookkeeping, payroll, billing and accounts receivableStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailConfidence dealing directly with clientsA professional and personable telephone and reception mannerThe ability to manage competing priorities without requiring close supervisionSound judgment, discretion and an understanding of confidentiality in a legal environmentA practical, proactive approach to getting things doneExperience with legal practice management, billing or document management software will be highly regardedAbout usJL Lawyers is a boutique law firm located in Adelaide's East End.
