The Prospect
As an HV Electrician, you will work on-site at Curragh North, supporting the electrical maintenance and reliability of Komatsu equipment within a mining environment.
This is a gate-to-gate position, giving you the opportunity to work directly alongside the customer and play an important role in maintaining equipment safely and reliably.
You will use your electrical and high voltage experience to diagnose faults, complete maintenance activities and support the ongoing performance of Komatsu equipment on site.
This is an opportunity to join a global OEM, work in a major mining environment and continue developing your electrical career through exposure to Komatsu equipment, systems and technical training.
Key Responsibilities
Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on Komatsu equipmentDiagnose electrical and high voltage faults and identify practical solutionsWork safely and effectively within the Curragh North customer site environmentComplete inspections, testing and maintenance activities to required standardsMaintain accurate job documentation and recordsWork closely with customer and Komatsu teams to support equipment reliabilityIdentify and escalation equipment or work-related issues where requiredMaintain high standards of safety and comply with Komatsu Golden Rules and site requirementsContinue developing technical capability through Komatsu training and development
Roster: 7:7 Roster – 12.5 hour daysAnnualised Wages: Highly competitive annualised salary + super + meals & accommodation(Additional to the above,



is a $200 per week resident allowance for employee's located/residing in the Emerald)Role Located: Site based at Curragh North – this is a gate-to-gate position
What we are looking for
Certificate III in Electrotechnology – essentialElectrical trade qualification with high voltage experienceExperience working in mining, heavy industry or a similar environmentStrong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capabilityExperience working with high voltage electrical systemsStrong commitment to safety and qualityAbility to work effectively within a customer site environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accurate job documentationA willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of Komatsu equipment
