Head of Financial Planning / Financial AdviserYou will be responsible for running the Financial Planning division with a high degree of autonomy, establishing, growing and leading the Financial Planning division alongside an established accounting firm.
You will have access to the broader Powell Enterprises client base, brand, qualified network and business infrastructure while having the freedom to run the financial planning operation.Key responsibilitiesManaging and advising financial planning clientsDeveloping relationships with existing Powell Enterprises clientsConverting qualified internal referrals into long-term advice relationshipsEstablishing and maintaining appropriate advice,



compliance and client-service processesHelping shape the strategy and future direction of the divisionUltimately building a team around the division as it growsAbout youExisting AFSL/licensing structure enabling you to provide financial advice independentlyCurrent registration and ability to provide personal financial advice in AustraliaStrong technical financial planning knowledgeDemonstrated experience managing your own client relationshipsStrong commercial and business-development abilityExcellent compliance historyAbility to operate independently and take ownership of the divisionStrong communication skills and the ability to work closely with accountants and business ownersExperience advising business owners, investors and high-net-worth clients will be highly regardedAn existing client base or established recurring advice book would be highly attractive but is not essentialAbout usPowell Enterprises has an established client base of businesses, investors and high-net-worth individuals.
