The firm is looking for someone who can become an important part of the future leadership team, with a genuine opportunity to progress towards Director and Partner level.You'll join an established Brisbane practice with a close-knit team and direct access to Partners, while also benefiting from the resources and opportunities of a major international accounting network.The Brisbane office is based in the CBD and operates across Audit & Assurance, Business Advisory, Corporate Advisory & Tax.The RoleYou'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of external audit engagements while leading and developing a team.Responsibilities will include:Managing external audit engagements from planning through to completionManaging a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industriesBuilding strong, long-term relationships with key clientsReviewing audit files and ensuring high technical standardsManaging engagement budgets, workflow and deadlinesCoaching, mentoring and developing junior and senior audit staffWorking closely with Partners on complex engagementsIdentifying opportunities to strengthen and grow client relationshipsContributing to the ongoing development of the Audit divisionProgressively taking on greater leadership and commercial responsibilityAbout YouWe're looking for someone with:Strong Australian External Audit experiencePrevious experience at Manager level, or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step upCA or CPA qualificationStrong technical audit and financial reporting knowledgeExperience managing multiple engagements and deadlinesConfidence dealing directly with senior clientsStrong people leadership and mentoring capabilityCommercial awareness and an interest in developing client relationshipsThe ambition to continue progressing towards senior leadership and potentially PartnershipWhy Consider This Chance?
