Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the Injury Management Advisor (IMA) provides clinical guidance and support to Case Managers, helping to deliver evidence-based injury management and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Please note: This is a fixed term contract until Feb ****.
About You
You are an experienced professional with a strong understanding of injury recovery, rehabilitation and return to work principles.
You are confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders and enjoy mentoring others to achieve positive outcomes.
You will bring:
A qualification in an allied health or health-related discipline (such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or a similar field)
Experience developing and implementing injury management and return to work plans
The ability to assess clinical information and collaborate with treating practitioners to achieve the best recovery outcomes
Robust coaching and communication skills, with the ability to support and develop Case Managers
Experience facilitating case conferences, claims reviews and stakeholder discussions
Sound knowledge of medical terminology,

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey
Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or Workers Compensation
Knowledge of injury management legislation and return to work frameworks
Project improvement or quality assurance experience
