Production Supervisor - Beverage ManufacturingWe are hiring a Production Supervisor to run the floor day to day and to be the link between the floor and the office.
You will own the production schedule, keep runs moving, make sure finished product is ready when we said it would be, and make sure what happens on the floor is written down and handed over cleanly.
You will work alongside our Maintenance Manager, Administration Manager and QA Manager, and report to the Director / General Manager.
This is a role for someone who wants to grow.
The business is scaling, and the supervisor who runs this floor well is the obvious candidate for the General Manager seat as it opens up.Key responsibilitiesSupervise the production floor and coordinate the team on shiftBuild and manage the production schedule against stock, materials and customer timingMake sure products are finished, checked and ready for dispatch, and follow up with clients on their runsOversee quality assurance on the floor and work with the QA Manager on standards and sign-offKeep production records current and hand information from the floor to the office and admin teamWork with the Maintenance Manager on downtime, changeovers and equipment issuesDeal with the unexpected: a late ingredient, a line fault,



a changed customer dateAbout youExperience in food or beverage manufacturing, ideally a supervisor or team-leader roleA working understanding of production, supply chain and customer needs, not just one of themClear, direct communication with both floor staff and office staffComfort leaving the desk to see what is actually happening on the lineCalm under pressure and positive judgement when plans changeAmbition to step up as the business growsForklift licence food safety or HACCP training is a plusFull working rights in AustraliaAbout usMulti Bev Co is Melbourne's independent contract beverage manufacturer.
