Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established Group Practice to find an experienced Practice Nurse to join their large, supportive team in Beverley on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys working in a busy General Practice environment and is looking for the stability of a permanent, Monday-Friday position.
The Clinic
You'll be joining a large and established Medical Centre with a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team, including:
17 GPs(a mix of full-time and part-time doctors)5 Practice NursesAn experienced Practice ManagerVisiting Allied Health SpecialistsA supportive administration and reception team
With an established nursing team already in place, you'll have plenty of support around you while working across a varied Practice Nursing workload.
The Role
This is a permanent full time position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with the GPs, nursing team and wider clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:




Immunisations and vaccinationsWound care and dressingsChronic Disease Management and Care PlansHealth assessmentsECGs and spirometryPathology collectionInfection prevention and controlAssisting GPs with proceduresPatient education and preventative healthcareMaintaining accurate clinical documentationGeneral treatment room and Practice Nursing duties
About You
We're looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious General Practice / Practice Nursing experienceCurrent CPR/BLS and First Aid certificationCurrent National Police CheckCurrent Working with Children CheckStrong immunisation knowledge and experienceExperience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessmentsExcellent communication and organisational skillsA friendly, professional and patient-focused approachThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical team
