Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser TherapistWe are seeking a talented Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser Therapist to join our team in Teneriffe, QLD.
This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to develop expertise in the growing field of cosmetic and laser treatments.
In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a modern, patient-centred workplace, delivering both nursing expertise and advanced laser therapy services.
You will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.Key responsibilitiesAdminister cosmetic treatments and procedures including laser therapies with precision and professionalismConduct detailed patient consultations to understand treatment goals, assess suitability and discuss expectationsPerform skin assessments and provide personalised treatment recommendationsOperate and maintain cosmetic and laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocolsMaintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and treatment documentationEducate patients on pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructionsMonitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessaryMaintain a clean, safe and sterile treatment environment at all timesComply with all relevant health and safety regulations,
infection control standards and professional nursing codes of conductSupport the wider team to deliver exceptional patient experiencesWhat we're looking forCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)Valid Laser Safety Certification or willingness to obtain this qualificationProven experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical settingDemonstrated experience in cosmetic nursing or aesthetic medicine (preferred)Strong knowledge of laser technology, skin anatomy and cosmetic treatment protocolsExcellent patient communication and consultation skills with the ability to build rapport and trustMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safetyAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamProfessional presentation and genuine passion for aesthetic nursingCurrent CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Our clinic is a leading provider of innovative cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, dedicated to helping our clients look and feel their best.
