This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, crafting quality beverages and creating memorable interactions with our guests.
Your expertise in coffee preparation and your commitment to customer service will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence.Key responsibilitiesPreparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffees, teas, and speciality drinksOperating and maintaining espresso machines and other beverage equipment to ensure consistent qualityMaintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the beverage preparation area and throughout the service spaceDelivering outstanding customer service and responding to customer requests and feedback professionallyWorking collaboratively with team members during busy periods to ensure efficient serviceFollowing health and safety protocols and food handling procedures at all timesContributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customersWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Barista or in a similar beverage preparation roleStrong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and espresso-based beveragesProficiency in operating espresso machines and other coffee equipmentExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanourAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining qualityStrong attention to detail and commitment to consistency in beverage preparationGood communication and teamwork abilitiesPhysical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksFlexibility with schedulingA passion for coffee and a desire to continually improve your craftRelevant hospitality qualifications or certifications (such as a barista course) would be advantageousWhat we offerWorking with the Wounded Heroes Association Inc, you will be part of a supportive and values-driven organisation.
