Workshop Manager & Technical Trainer - PNG BASED (AC****)Please note - This is a PNG based positionA large transport and logistics organisation operating across Papua New Guinea is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager / Technical Trainer to lead workshop operations and support the ongoing development of technical personnel across its heavy vehicle fleet.This position is ideally suited to a strong workshop leader with extensive heavy vehicle experience who enjoys mentoring teams, improving systems and driving workshop performance rather than remaining purely on the tools.Working closely with operational teams and senior management, you will oversee workshop productivity, maintenance quality, fleet reliability and technical training initiatives across the business.Your responsibilities will include:Leading workshop operations and supporting regional maintenance activitiesMentoring workshop staff,



supervisors and trades personnelDelivering technical guidance and troubleshooting support across the fleetDeveloping training programs and improving technical capability within workshop teamsMonitoring preventative maintenance schedules and workshop performanceSupporting workshop systems, reporting processes and continuous improvement initiativesPromoting safe maintenance practices and operational disciplineThe ideal candidate will possess:Extensive experience in heavy vehicle workshop management or senior workshop supervisionStrong technical knowledge across heavy vehicle diagnostics and maintenanceExperience working with Kenworth and Cummins equipmentProven leadership and mentoring capability within workshop environmentsStrong organisational and communication skillsExperience within transport, logistics or freight operationsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation where you can genuinely influence workshop standards, team capability and fleet performance while enjoying a unique residential opportunity in PNG.Accommodation and extra benefits are provided alongside a strong salary package reflective of experience.
