We're looking for talented individuals who share our commitment to quality and professionalism.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a General Labourer on a full-time basis, with an additional part-time CAD Drawer position available.Key responsibilitiesPreparing and handling components for the powder coating process, ensuring proper cleaning and surface preparationAssisting with loading, unloading and moving materials and finished products safely and efficientlyMaintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety standardsOperating basic equipment and machinery under supervision as requiredSupporting the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standardsAssisting with inventory management and stock rotationCreating and modifying CAD drawings for powder coating projectsAssisting with design specifications and technical documentationCollaborating with clients and the production team to ensure accurate representations of componentsMaintaining CAD files and ensuring proper file management systemsSupporting the design process for new and existing projectsWhat we're looking forPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materialsReliability, punctuality and a strong work ethicWillingness to learn and develop new skills in both labouring and technical areasBasic health and safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety protocolsAttention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyTeam player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyFor the CAD Drawer component: proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar) or equivalent experienceFor the CAD Drawer component: ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsExperience in manufacturing, powder coating or similar industries is advantageous but not essentialValid driver's license is preferredWhat we offerAt Express Powder Coating, we're committed to creating a supportive and rewarding work environment.
