The successful applicant will provide high-quality housekeeping and domestic support within our Sisters' residences.Key responsibilitiesGeneral cleaning and housekeepingCleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areasVacuuming, mopping, dusting and other routine cleaningLaundry and changing bed linenMaintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentationDelivery and service of mealsOther reasonable housekeeping duties as requiredAbout youHave previous experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning or a similar roleAre reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in their workHave a high level of attention to detailCan work independently and manage their time effectivelyHave a respectful understanding of, or willingness to learn about,



the lifestyle and practices of women in religious lifeAre comfortable working within a religious community and understand the importance of privacy, discretion and respectHave a warm, compassionate and respectful approach when working with older members of the communityHave good communication skills and a qualified mannerHave a drivers licence and a clean driving recordAbout usThe Sisters of Mercy are a religious congregation with a long history of service to the community.
