Truly Home is a home maintenance and handyperson service.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Handyman to join our team based out of Baulkham Hills, NSW.
In this casual role, you will play a vital part in helping our customers maintain and improve their homes.
We also do a large amount of work for a hardware merchandising company assisting them with their work in hardware retail store across NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the trades and services industry.What you'll be doingAssisting with a range of handyman and maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, gardening, and installations as well as hardware merchandising and occasionally retail relays and installing new displaysWorking closely with owner operator on a wide variety of jobsPreparing work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe work practicesProviding excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and responding to their needs in a timely and professional mannerMaintaining a clean, tidy, and organized work environmentAdhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentWorking towards being able to work more independently on simpler jobsWhat we're looking forA keen interest in the trades and services industryNo experience or qualifications required.Strong practical and problem-solving skillsA capability to cope with what can occasionally be a physically demanding job, e.g.
